Prevention of Sexual Harassment for Employees

Awareness alone does not change behaviour. This engaging, facilitator-led course gives every employee the understanding, the confidence, and the practical tools to recognise harassment, challenge it, and help build a workplace where it does not happen.

The duty is strengthening

October 2026 is coming. days to act.

From October 2026 the legal bar rises to all reasonable steps, and employers become liable for third-party harassment. Manager training is a key part of demonstrating those steps, not the whole of them.

Our signature approach

Know the Line. Hold the Line.

Two modules, three hours, built to move people from understanding to action.

Module 1 · 1.5 hours

Know the line

Understanding when banter, boundaries and behaviour are crossed.

  • Legal basicsThe Equality Act 2010, the Worker Protection Act, and how they align with your organisation's policies.
  • Psychological theories and biasesCognitive biases and myths about victims and perpetrators, victim blaming and its impact on organisations, third-party harassment, and societal narratives on boundaries and consent.
  • Contemporary harassmentWhat constitutes sexual harassment in the modern workplace, including AI, image-based abuse, and digital misconduct.

Module 2 · 1.5 hours

Hold the line

Understanding your role and responsibility in upholding a safe, harassment-free workplace.

  • Power dynamicsHow workplace hierarchies and relationships affect behaviour and reporting, and what employees can do within them.
  • Bystander interventionUsing the 4 D's, Direct, Distract, Delegate, Delay, to respond safely and effectively.
  • Collective accountabilityEveryone's role in creating a respectful workplace and protecting colleagues.
  • Practical applicationRealistic scenarios and facilitated discussion on what to do, what not to do, and how to step in with confidence.

Know the Line draws on our continuum of harm model, helping people move past the grey areas and easy assumptions.

The Continuum of Harm: a trauma-informed model showing how tolerated behaviours such as sexist jokes and microaggressions at the base enable more serious harms including harassment, abuse and violence higher up.

Why our training works

Behaviour change, not just awareness.

We do not read a policy at people. Every session is facilitative, discussion-based and scenario-led, rooted in the neuroscience of learning, so people leave with more than a memory of a slide deck. They leave knowing what they would actually do.

Delivery and format

Three focused hours, delivered live, always.

Three hours, two modules

Delivered as two focused 1.5-hour modules, Know the Line and Hold the Line, with breaks built in.

Facilitator-led, always

Discussion-based, with contextual case studies, group debate and scenario exercises. Never a slide deck read aloud to a passive room.

Rooted in the neuroscience of learning

Built around how adults actually retain and apply new understanding, not just how they sit through a session.

Delivered your way

Live face-to-face at your premises, or live virtual via MS Teams or Zoom. Also available as public, open-enrolment courses for individuals.

OneSource HR Learning Solution Impact Report: an 80% reduction in victim-blaming behaviour and a 54.55% increase in management preparedness to respond to confidential disclosures following training

Proven impact

Evidence of learning, not just a certificate of attendance.

Every delivery of this course includes pre- and post-delivery impact assessments and a full Learning Solution Impact Report, at no extra cost.

These give you statistical evidence of what changed, not just a sense that the session went well. That evidence feeds directly into your Worker Protection Act risk assessment and helps demonstrate the reasonable steps you have taken.
